多学科交叉研究中心简介

Interdisciplinary Research Center (IRC)

多学科交叉研究中心是根据当今科技发展态势及研究所发展需求于2014年在原前沿研究部的基础上改造成立的,主要从事电气科学与其他多门学科的交叉前沿探索研究,为研究所开辟新的学科发展方向并提升研究所的基础研究能力。

研究中心面向能源和电力领域的国家重大需求,以跨多个学科(电气科学与材料、能源、信息、生物、微纳制造技术)的前瞻性技术和亟待突破的关键技术为切入点,储备和突破核心技术、提升自主创新和技术转化能力,巩固电工所在面向国家能源战略和国家安全的若干领域中开展电工新技术研究的优势地位,同时加速推进电工新技术在医疗、信息、制造业、环境领域的创新应用研究。

研究中心鼓励开展属于但不限于以下方向的研究:电磁场与电网络理论、新型电能转换理论与技术、新能源的新型转换与利用技术、新型能量储存技术与新型电池技术、极端条件下(如太空环境、极高温、极低温、极高压力等)的电工技术、新型节能与节电技术、新型能源与电工材料及其应用研究、环境科技与电工学的交叉、信息科技与电工学的交叉等研究方向。

目前,研究中心已组建先进储能技术研究组,其它研究团队正在陆续组建。储能技术研究组以电子、化学、材料、物理等多学科相互交叉与渗透为特点,围绕储能科学与技术方向,重点开发低成本长寿命的新型储能电池和可以安全快速充电的新型动力电池技术,是目前国际上较早从事锂液流电池技术研究的科研团队。课题组在前沿储能原理与技术探索的同时,注重技术成果的产业转化,课题组荣获“2015年度中国储能产业最具前沿课题技术研究组称号。

Interdisciplinary Research Center (IRC)

Interdisciplinary Research Center (IRC) was established based on the former Frontier Research Department in 2014, according to the development trend of science today and the development need of Institute of Electrical Engineering (IEE). It is mainly engaged in the frontier research on electrical science and other interdisciplinary areas, exploring new research directions and improving the capability of the institute in basic research.

Facing the national major demand in energy and electric power areas, and taking the interdisciplinary prospective technologies (covering the knowledge of electrical science and materials, energy, information, biology, micro-nano fabrication technology, etc) and those key technologies to break through as a starting point, IRC is committed to reserve and break through the key technologies, raise the capability of independent innovation and technical transformation, and consolidate the dominant role of IEE in the research of new electrical technologies for certain areas of the national energy strategy and national security. Meanwhile, IRC is expected to enhance the application research of those new electrical technologies in the regions of medical treatment, information, manufacture and environment.

IRC welcomes the research that belongs to but not limited to the following aspects: electromagnetic fields and electrical network theory, new energy conversion theory and technology, new conversion and utilization technology of new energy sources, new energy storage technology and new battery technology, electrical technology under extreme conditions (such as the space environment, extremely high temperature, extremely low temperature, extremely high pressure, etc.), new energy and electrical conservation technology, new energy and electric material and its application, intercross research of environment technology and electrical engineering, intercross research of information technology and electrical engineering, etc.

So far, a research group of advanced energy storage technology has been set up in the IRC, while other research groups are also being planned. The main research aim of the group of energy storage technology is to develop new energy storage theory and technology, especially new energy storage battery which has both low cost and long life, and new power battery technology which can achieve safe and fast charging, through the interdisciplinary studies of electronics, chemistry, materials, physics, etc. The present group is also one of the earliest research groups on lithium-ion flow battery in the world today. It focuses not only on the exploration of frontier theory and technology of energy storage, but also the industrial transformation of the technological achievements. In addition, it was awarded the title of “The most advanced research group of energy storage industry in China, 2015”.
